Streaming Videos

Alexander Street Video provides access to nearly 50,000 streaming videos from a variety of publishers. Contents include field recording, interviews, lectures, training videos, and exclusive primary footage.
Films on Demand This link opens in a new window
Films on Demand provides access to over 27,000 films and documentaries from sources around the world.
Kanopy Streaming Service This link opens in a new window
Due to rapidly rising expenses with Kanopy, the library purchases a video there only after a UNO professor confirms that all students in a class are required to view it and no other access is available. The library encourages the UNO community to explore the many thousands of films available in Academic Video Online, Films on Demand, and the PBS Video Collection. These video services overlap considerably with Kanopy and do not require a special request to the library.

In addition to online access to the journal, the publisher site includes exclusive reports, webinars, infographics, and additional multimedia resources.

Media Collection - Nebraska Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

NCDHH offers anyone living in Nebraska library materials such as videotapes/DVD's or books pertaining to deafness, hearing loss, American Sign Language, and interpreting. Media Center materials may be checked out for a five (5) week period and must be returned at the end of the five weeks. Material may be mailed to anyone living in the State of Nebraska; however, the borrower is responsible for the return postage of the material to NCDHH.
