Print or Save eBook Pages

You can save or print up to 60 pages of an eBook within the eBook Full Text viewer.


To print or save ebook pages as a PDF:

1. Open the ebook in the eBook Full Text Viewer.

2. Go to the first page of the section of pages you would like to print and click the Print icon in the right column.

3. Select to print:

   Current Page: Print only the page you see

   Current Page and the next xx pages: Enter the number of pages in the field.

   This section: Select to print the entire section of the ebook.

4. Select:

   Print to PDF to send the selected pages to your printer.

   Send as an email to email the selected pages as a PDF file


Note: Pages saved as a PDF can be transferred to an ereader like a Nook or Kindle.

eBook Collection (EBSCOhost

With the device you plan to use for reading, click this link to access e-books on EBSCOhost. 

  1. Make sure that your ebook reading device has been enabled/authorized to read ebooks. This will be in your app or ADE settings.
  2. Conduct your search by title, keyword, subject, etc.
  3. Click on the book title to display the full record describing the book
    1. OR select eBook Full Text to view the book in your browser.
      1. You may click through the Table of Contents to view chapters of the ebook and search for terms.
    2. OR select Download (Offline) to check out the book and read it on your computer with Adobe Digital Editions.
  4. To download the book to your device, click the Download button.
  5. If you are not already signed into EBSCOhost, you will be prompted to do so. If you have not created an account, click on the provided link to create an account.
  6. After you sign in, choose your checkout period. The choices range from 1 to 7 days.
  7. Click the Checkout & Download button to start the download process.  A popup window will appear with two choices.
    1. Click Open with Adobe Digital Editions if you want to begin reading the book immediately. The book will be automatically saved in your Adobe Digital Editions folder.  OR
    2. Click Save to read later. A link to the book will be saved in the location of your choice. When you click on the link, the book will open in Adobe Digital Editions. You will need to be linked to the Internet to download the book. 
  8. If you wish to continue reading the book after the download license has expired, you will have to check the book out again.

Add Notes to eBooks

Need to take notes from your EBSCO ebook? Take notes and save them to your My EBSCOhost folder for later viewing. Here's how:

  1. From the page of the eBook on which you would like to leave a note, click on the Notes icon in the toolbar.
  2. Click the + New Note button that appears in the Notes area. If there are existing notes, they appear in a list in the Notes area. Click the Sign In link to save your note to your My EBSCOhost folder account.
  3. Enter your note and click the Save button. You can adjust how the text appears in your note using the Bold, Italics, and Underline buttons above the text field. Your saved note will appear in the Notes list.
  4. Click the X in the upper-left corner to close the Notes area.
