Media Equipment

Media Equipment and Accessories

Camcorders (digital and mini-DVR), tripods, digital cameras, DVD/VHS player/monitor remote controls, projector remote controls, and digital audio recorders may be checked out for a 3 day period, with 1 renewal, to UNO students, faculty, and staff only.

Headphones and tape recorders may be checked out and used in the Library for 4 hours. Keyboards, mice, floppy drives, zip drives, Ethernet cables, USB cables and calculators may be checked out and used in the Library for 3 hours. Visit the Main Service Desk to check out any of these items.

Reserving Group Study Rooms and Media Devices

 

UNO students, faculty, and staff can reserve digital cameras, video cameras, and digital voice recorders online through the Criss Library catalog. Click here for instructions, or watch the video below.

 

Creation and Editing Software & Tools

All of the software listed below is available in Criss Library's Instruction Labs, Group Study Rooms, and First Floor Computer Lab EXCEPT for Audacity, Jing, and YouTube Video Clips, which can be downloaded for free from the link listed below.
