Project Achieve Library Resources

This guide helps Project Achieve students begin their research or find more help with research projects.

Criss Library is Your Library!

It's a pleasure and honor to work with you. Our mission is to help you feel more comfortable doing your research. Don't see what you need? Please ask! It's our job to answer your questions.

First thing: set up your accounts to use the library

Next: Get to know your librarians

Project Achieve has two librarians to help you. We're happy to chat about anything -- say hi at Project Achieve or come visit us in the library.

Tammi Owens is a specialist in Comp II, art & art history, theatre, music, and international studies, but can help you with any topic. She loves helping people make a plan for research and talking about what makes a source right for your paper. When she's not at Project Achieve or at the library, she reads romance and young adult books and spins yarn on an old-fashioned spinning wheel. Fun fact: Tammi has a Harry Potter scar on her forehead.

Katie Bishop is the specialist for folks in english, foreign languages, and communications. She is excited (and tbh) a little nervous when students ask her tough research questions, but always loves a challenge. In her spare time Katie likes to go to action movies, play video games, surf the internet, and read. If you live in the Benson area you might see her out walking her two dogs, Todd and Hazel.
