Oculus Rift VR
UNO community members can make appointments for the VR kit through libcal.unomaha.edu or from a tab on the Creative Production Lab home page with an active @unomaha email address. Appointments can be made for up to 2 hours per day per person. Patrons can use the VR kit without a reservation, but may have to stop use for someone with a reservation. Existing or upcoming reservations take priority over walk-ins or reservations over their time.
Available software is limited to currently owned or free software attached to the CPL Oculus and/or Steam accounts. Additional free software can be added by CPL staff at request.
Patrons wishing to use the CPL VR equipment for software attached to a personal Steam account will be allowed to do so with prior approval. Patrons assume all risk and responsibility of logging in to a personal software account on a public-facing PC.
