ILUNO & International Students

This guide contains helpful information for international students using Criss Library.

Library Hours

During the Fall and Spring semesters, the library is open at the following times:

  • Monday - Thursday: 7 A.M. - 12 A.M.
  • Friday: 7 A.M. - 5 P.M.
  • Saturday: 9 A.M. - 5 P.M.
  • Sunday: 12 P.M. - 12 A.M.

The library hours change during the Summer semester and during holidays.

Find Your Textbooks

Students need to purchase required textbooks from the bookstore. Most American libraries follow this practice.

Food, Drink and Talking at Criss Library

Food and Drinks: You can bring food and drinks into the library. At the library, there is a cafe, vending machines, and a microwave you can use.

Talking: You can talk to others and answer phones on floors 1 and 2 at Criss Library. The 3rd floor is the Quiet Study Zone. There is no talking allowed on this floor and cell phones must be turned off or silenced. This area is for students who want a quiet space to study.
