UNO Course Design Reviews

Our Instructional Design team uses the OSCQR framework, a nationally-recognized instrument for guiding course design, and an open resource which the team has adapted for local use.

Course Design Reviews can be requested from our Instructional Design Specialists with the Office of Digital Learning. The UNO Digital Learning Course Design Rubric is the tool that will be used to evaluate the course design and focuses on organization/layout/design, accessibility and feedback on assessments linking to student learning outcomes. Feedback on the courses are for faculty to consider and implement as they see fit. The document can be found below:

The Potential of Pressbooks - eCampus Ontario Webinar

Pressbooks is an online eBook platform which UNO has access to. This webinar is a great overview on what you can do with it. Some options might include editing an existing open textbook or putting together an "online course pack" of sorts.
