How to access online library resources through UNO Libraries

InterLibrary Loan

If a journal article is not available within any of the library’s databases or the library does not have a particular book available, you can submit an Interlibrary Loan request and we will try to get the item for you from another library.

  • You will need to create an account the first time you submit a request.  Make sure to note you are an online or distance education student and fill out a mailing address when you set up your account so physical items can be mailed to you.

  • In most cases, PDF copies of journal articles are linked to your Interlibrary Loan account within two to three days of submitting a request.  Obtaining copies of other kinds of publications may take longer given the time required to mail them. 

E-Reserves

Your professor may require you to read a journal article, book chapter, or another publication through electronic reserve at the library.  They will give you a class password for access.
