Description:
One great workshop two chances to attend!
Knowledge and research are meant to be shared and built upon. This is the core value of Open Access and it values community over commercialization. It the dissemination of research and creative works with the paywall structure removed, making work freely accessible and available to use world-wide. Making your work open access can lead to collaborations, increased citations, and the expanse of ideas and knowledge.
Join UNO Libraries in one of our 30-minute Open Access Workshops to learn more about open access and the library resources to help make your work accessible. This workshop will cover the basics of Open Access, how DigitalCommon@UNO can makes work open and accessible, and the Open Access Publishing Agreements through the library that allows you to publish Open Access at little or no cost.
Note: Both workshops will cover the same content and no registration is required. This will be uploaded to DigitalCommons@UNO after both workshops have occurred for future access. For more information contact Jennie Tobler-Gaston at jenniegaston@unomaha.edu.
