This Encyclopedia defines and then details issues faced by small businesses, including accounting, competitive bids and outsourcing, among many other topics.

There are currently 15 types of federal assistance available to search including surplus equipment, training, guaranteed loans, and grants. The CFDA database covers all Federal programs available to State and local governments (including the District of Columbia); federally -recognized Indian tribal governments; Territories (and possessions) of the United States; domestic public, quasi-public, and private profit and nonprofit organizations and institutions; specialized groups; and individuals.
