The National Institute of Health (NIH) has a new Data Management and Sharing Policy that goes into effect on January 25, 2023. Under the new DMS policy, investigators and institutions must plan and budget for the managing and sharing of data when submitting a DMS plan for review when applying for funding and implement the approved DMS plan.
