R is an open-source statistical programming language that has a robust community in data science. Frequently used in almost all steps of a data science project, R can be used through your computer command line or in an integrated development environment.
The UNO R User Group is for everybody interested in R, the programming language for statistical computing, data science, visualization, and reproducible research. Whether you are just learning R for the first time or are an expert R user, all are welcome. The group meets on the last Friday of every month from 1:30-2:30 (Central) to discuss R-related topics, workshop projects, or get help. We alternate meeting between Dodge and Scott campus, so please consult the schedule for upcoming meetings. Everyone is welcome, from across or outside the university and regardless of R programming experience. For further information and to request access to the Canvas site, email Dr. Jason Heppler.
