CPL Mission Statement

The Criss Library Creative Production Lab (CPL) operates on the principle that all UNO affiliates and external community members should have access to means of multimedia production and professional guidance to achieve their creative and professional vision. Priority of access and aid is given to active UNO students first, as our primary stake-holders. We strive to support UNO faculty and staff in their success as part of our mission with full access around this priority, alongside key partnerships with other Omaha-metro community educational institutions.

We offer access to industry-level creative technologies for all UNO patrons regardless of course of study or experience. CPL Staff guides patrons towards new technological solutions for educational endeavors and the completion of portfolio-level projects while minimizing or eliminating costs.

All materials on-hand are offered at cost of operation. Projects are patron-guided, and patron-completed. Full support for classes and workshops offered at the request of, and in coordination with, university academic departments, and community educational affiliates.

We are dedicated to the growth and viability of the science, humanities, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics studies locally and regionally through tours, workshops, and outreach events.
