It's true—the library has over 1 million eBooks for access! But, browsing this much information doesn't have to be a daunting task. Similar to the way the library uses cases to display its physical collections, this LibGuide displays items from our electronic collections. Use the tabs on the left side to explore a variety of themed eBook displays. We will continue to add new displays, so be sure to check back for updates!
eBooks are available to UNO-affiliated students, staff, and faculty. For more information on searching for eBooks in specific eBook databases, visit the eBooks library guide.
Most eBook downloads require a free Adobe ID, the proper software, and a UNO Criss Library account. You can view eBooks online or check them out via download for printing or offline reading. The steps to do so depend on your device and the eBook publisher. Criss Library offers eBooks through EBSCO, EBL (Ebook Central), Safari, and HathiTrust.
Not a UNO student, staff member, or faculty member? We've provided citations for each of the books in these displays so that you can still find them elsewhere.
